You come up with a new company, you make a logo, it's time for printed materials. Business cards first, then flyers, then catalog. Question: how much does it all really cost? in 2026 and how to design itso you don't feel ashamed? I'll show you specific prices from Polish online printing houses, papers, refinements and what to avoid.

Business cards - the most common and easiest

Standard size

90 × 50 mm — European standard. In the USA they have 3.5 × 2 inches (89 × 51 mm), in Japan 91 × 55 mm. In Poland: 90 × 50 mm.

Non-standard dimensions (square 50 × 50, mini 85 × 30) - more expensive and less convenient (do not fit into wallets).

5 rules of a good business card

1. Easy to read contact details — phone number and email address in a decent size (min. 8 pt)
2. The logo is clear but not dominant — 25-40% of the area
3. Safety margin 3-5 mm for text

Brand book - minimum

If you are planning regularly produce materials printed (4+ items per year), invest in brand book:

• CMYK + Pantone + RGB values of each color
• Font list + rules of use
• Logo - versions (positive, negative, monochrome) + rules (safe margin, minimum size)
• Templates (business card, leaflet, presentation)

The most common traps

❌ Online store "print for 9 PLN" — cheapest = often the worst. Low grammage, poor color quality, no warranty

❌ Design with Canva without conversion to CMYK — the colors will come out different than on the screen

❌ No bleeds in the file — the printing house rejects or prints with white stripes

❌ Low-resolution PNG logo — pixelosis after printing

❌ Text too close to the edge — gets lost when cutting

❌ Too much information on the business card — the reader won't find what he's looking for in 3 seconds

❌ Inconsistency with the website — a customer enters the website and thinks "is this a different company?"
